happenings of the week

one week just passed like that! despite it being really hectic, i'm loving all that company from the people around me for the pass six days. and it's birthday celebrations aplenty.

mon 21jul
took the day off to settle some of the many things i need to do. then i met up with ben, jeth and mx to hunt for each others' birthday presents. buying presents is so torturous! however, we were super productive because we managed to get the presents. it's definitely helpful to know what each other wanted. and not forgetting jeth's constant reminder to us to stay focus.

went for harris' 21st birthday celebration. it was so much fun! if not for work the next day, i would have stayed over. :(

met the rest of the spear3 guys on wed to celebrate jiahao's 21st. we had dinner at timbre at the arts house. lovely ambience and the music was great! i had the river view! X) well, it was a pity that eugene could not join us. and ben was so annoying and it got worst when he got a bit too much to drink. :X

joined ryn and some of the 2/2 guys to meet xilun for dinner. it has been 6 years since i last saw him, and that was when we were in sec1. it was a pity that i couldn't join them for dinner.

went to meet with the usual 3 from spear at siglap's starbucks. it's the last one before mx leaves for melbourne on sat. i got my birthday present from them there. i got the bag that i wanted! *yeahs*

how i wished mx could be there for the party. he'll definitely be missed.

ben had an early celebration for his birthday. the group of us had dinner at fish and co. glasshouse before going to zouk. the clubbing had a very bad start. lucky it ended in somewhat the right note. and this was actually the first time that i'm paying to club somemore! i did not enjoy myself as much la! so bo hua lor.. *urgh* :(

celebrated xR's 21st just now. we had steamboat dinner and we played mahjong and the ps2 after that. and xR's dog, jo, is so cute!! went to supper at 85market at 1+ a.m. there were not many stalls opened for us to buy from. some of us ate a bit and we went on and on about our dreams, as in lalaland dreams. it was almost 3 when we left.

so many days of going out and being at birthday parties has caused the numbers in my bank account to plunge to greater depths! this time, it has reached catastrophic levels. i MUST go into hiding and recuperate soon.

and i'm not getting enough sleep as well! this is bad. and next week is going to be as hectic since there's so much to be done prior to my party on sat. *arghh*

there's uni stuff to look into too! NO!!


it's going to be stay home sunday for me. i need that time for myself.
